There are no roads in the vicinity of a hundred miles and the Lodge is accessible only by floatplane or boat.The Fly-in Lodge is located on the foot of the Coast Mountains, adjacent to Tweedsmuir Provincial Park, one of the largest protected wilderness areas of BC. The Nature Trails Wilderness Lodge is nestled on the shores of Tetachuck Lake. Far away all civilization these cozy log cabins offer great opportunities for a relaxing and varied adventure surrounded by nature.
Accommodations:
The Lodge features 5 individual cozy lakefront log cabins with shower and toilet as well as hot/cold running water and wood burning stove (no electricity); plus 2 “family” cabins with open fireplace, 3 & 4 bedrooms, shower and toilet and wood burning stoves. All cabins have covered porches so guests can sit and watch for wildlife or simply enjoy the sunset. The Lodge is a perfect base to explore the great natural beauty of North Tweedsmuir Provincial Park.
Activities:

We offer an all inclusive getaway for people who enjoy the outdoors and want to experience some of BC’s last true wilderness. The lodge offers the use of canoes (on 3 different lakes), sea-kayaks, fishing rods & fly-rods, boat & motor, mountain bikes and all the accessories. Flight seeing to remote alpine lakes and glaciers is also available.

Location/Directions:
From Vancouver: Scheduled flights daily with Pacific Coastal Airlines fly over the coast mountains to Anahim Lake (about 250 miles). Free shuttle bus service is available to the floatplane base at Nimpo Lake. From Nimpo Lake a charter floatplane flies guests over the beautiful Rainbow Mountain Range to the Lodge on Tetachuck Lake (75 miles). Or, drive north from Vancouver past Whistler and Lilloet to Williams Lake (6 hours). Continue west to the floatplane base at Nimpo Lake (about 3 hrs). After the stay at the Lodge continue to Bella Coola and take the Discovery Coast Passage Ferry to Port Hardy on Vancouver Island.
