Located just outside of Durango, you will enjoy their long list of activities in a beautiful wilderness setting and appreciate the convenience of being close enough to an historic cowboy town to do some shopping, see a movie, or take a ride on the world famous Durango Silverton Railroad (an old steam engine train). The dining at the ranch is also a highlight. They cook up some really tasty grub (well actually, it's more like fine dining), and so far it is the only ranch that I have been to that gives you a menu to make your selections. The meals are served in the main lodge, which is easily the most magical part of the ranch. It is a massive wooden structure that has all the look and feel of a classic hunting lodge decorated with a varied assortment of huge animal mounts located throughout. The cabin accommodations are roomy, comfortable and nicely appointed. They are scattered around the property and offer comfy beds, a living room with a kitchenette, and a nice big deck for relaxing after a fun-filled day.
