I mean nothing, compares to riding horseback through knee deep powder
while it's snowing. People joke around all the time about being in a
postcard scene, but at Vista Verde you can actually live that dream
many times over. Whether you're snowshoeing through aspens or whisking
across vast snowfields on nordic skis, the scenery is so stunning that
you'll find yourself looking for that postcard photographer hiding in
the bushes. Other activities to choose from include sleigh rides, snowmobiling,
and even back country skiing and snow boarding. In the summer you can
fill your days with horseback riding, fishing, hiking and hot air ballooning.
What about the food though? Is it typical ranch food? Not by a long
shot. You can be sure that you won't be eating peanut butter sandwiches
or drinking out of kiddie juice boxes like at some ranches. At Vista
Verde the food is top notch! While I was there, the chef delighted me
with some of the most varied and delicious meals I've ever eaten. All
in all, I couldn't recommend the Vista Verde Ranch any higher. Do yourself
a big favor and book a trip there today. - Tell
