What I thought really made the ranch so special was their staff. With counselors specifically dedicated to children and teen guests, parents could be assured that grown-up time was an option. Whatever you wanted to do, there was always a staff member ready to help. Whether that meant taking you riding, fishing, hiking or shooting, they made sure it was a special and memorable experience. The scenery was truely breathtaking. Tumbling River's secluded location in the Pike National Forest made for the perfect setting for a ranch vacation. Tall Aspens, rugged mountain trails and spanning plateaus truly gave me the feel of an 1800's cowboy exploring the Colorado Mountain terrain. We stayed in the "Sullivan Cabin" which was situated a stone's throw from the river that ran through the property. I can’t say enough about my stay at Tumbling River.
