This place was sooo relaxing I didn't want to leave. You know those classic log lodges that you see in movies that look amazingly comfy and cozy and so old-school? This place was exactly that. I got lucky enough to stay in the Ernest Hemingway Cabin, where yes, the man himself once stayed way back when, while writing one of his famous novels. I just hope that some of that greatness wore off on me. My cabin was right by a little stream, which was an added bonus. Horseback riding and a spin around the lake in a canoe kept me busy.
