From the moment I arrived in the majestic Teton Wilderness, Kelly and Roxann and their entire family made me feel supremely comfortable and at home. They offer unbelievable meals three times a day, (they bake all their own bread and there's dessert at lunch AND dinner!), including a mountain-top cookout prepared by the wranglers on an all-day ride. The wranglers are a breed apart: the Horse Orientation on day one sets the tone for how thorough and knowledgeable everyone is, not to mention patient and kind and downright fun! In the evenings, groups of us ventured into town for an extraordinary local theater production of a melodrama (NOT to be missed!) and a rodeo, or just hung out at the ranch for songs around the campfire and cards in the saloon. There is a swimming pool, a sauna, and a great front porch for ping pong or just sittin' on the swing. The riding was excellent, the scenery breathtaking, and the food to die for.
