Sitting a couple hundred yards off a beautiful black sand beach in northern California, this Farm definitely has a rustic charm about it. Although nothing seemed to match and I could not decide if I was walking through an antique gallery or my grandmas house, I really enjoyed my stay. In the end, the randomness is what I liked most about it. The main sleeping and lounging area was an old barn that has been cleverly renovated into a variety of this and that odd rooms. I could not help but think how ideal this place would be for some type of an artist retreat. We drove up from San Francisco on Hwy 1 and it took about 4 hours but was worth every minute of it.
