The very first thing I should say about Costa Azul is that it is a real bargain. You get so, so much for what you pay. A reasonable rate includes all your meals, wine/beer and tons of super fun activities like surfing lessons, horseback rides on the beach, jungle hikes, boat trips, snorkeling and many more. The menu had a variety of tasty options for each meal and the staff was especially nice and genuinely friendly. It took less than an hour from Puerto Vallarta to arrive at the small town of San Pancho which is a refreshingly authentic Mexican village. I had a blast!
