Of all the ranches I visited this summer, I had the most fun horseback riding at this ranch in particular. I don't know if they do it all the time or if I just got lucky, but we got to ride our horses full-out on a few occasions. It was a rush! For someone who goes to quite a few ranches and knows how boring the head-to-tail riding can be after a while, this was a real treat. The ranch was also not nearly as rustic as I'm used to. The main building is an upscale A-frame home and then there are modern-style cabins scattered around in the trees. It was a nice chage of pace for me.
