I like rustic living as much as the next person and I have slept on the ground and in tents many times but when I am sleeping in an actual cabin I enjoy being comfy and cozy and that is exactly what I got at Aspen Canyon. Another nice thing is that the cabins are situated right next to the river so you can hear the water at night or hang out on the deck and just relax. Activities while I was there included horseback riding, fly fishing, archery, rafting, campfires and all kinds of other good rustic stuff. I don’t have any kids but the ones that were there seemed to be having a grand ole time. Without a doubt, the main activity at almost any ranch is the horseback riding and they did not disappoint. There was a huge variety of rides and terrain. We went through rivers, up and down steep mountain trails, through thick brush and even had some serious speed rides. I really enjoyed myself at the ranch and everyone was very friendly. It seemed like it would be great for couples or families alike. Give it a try! - Tell 'em Dusty Dave sent ya! |
